Frequently Asked Questions about Gardening Services We Offer

Q: Can I have a fixed price?

A: The service is based on time and the cost will be determined only for the hours the technicians spent working in your property.

Q: How do I know how long it will take? (without you seeing the garden)

A: The experience and quality training helps the operators to give you rough estimates even over the phone. The given estimate is based on the priorities you have, the condition and size of the garden. However, the team will let you know if the time you booked is enough for the job once they come on site and inspect the garden.

Q: How do I pay if they finish faster, than the time booked?

A: In case the technicians complete the job faster than the presumed time booked, the cost will be reduced to fit the time spent on site. A minimum of 55 GBP per hour applies for the service.

Q: Do I need 2 gardeners, can't I have just one?

A: As part of our company and previous experience, we know that it's best when 2 gardeners do the job, as they work faster, more efficient and can help one another with the more complicated tasks.

Q: Is waste disposal included in price?

A: The service includes free disposal of 180 litres of green waste. In case the waste for disposal is more, the technicians will be happy to do it additionally on the same day upon request.

Q: How much do you charge for additional waste disposal?

A: We charge 3 GPB for a 90l bag of waste and a total of 45 GBP for a ton bag of waste, which is recommended for extra large gardens only and will save you a lot for waste disposal.

Q: Do I have any options if I don't want you to take the waste?

A: Yes - the technicians can put the green waste into your compost area for you to use it if needed. Another option is for us to bag the green waste for your council to dispose. We charge extra, only if 10 or more bags are being used - 5 GBP per 10 bags.

Q: Do you work on Sunday/Bank holidays?

A: Yes, we work on Sundays and Bank holidays as well.

Q: Do I need to provide anything - bags, machines, something else?

A: No, the team brings everything, including all the equipment and bags. What we need is only a nearby parking and access to your property.

Q: Can you plant flowers?

A: Yes, we can plant flowers, but in order to fully meet your expectations it's best if you supply the exact plants and planting materials, or give us a two-day notice with a full list of the plants, exact colours, numbers, etc. You can always arrange an on-site visit from one of our landscaping surveyors as well.

Q: Can the gardeners do something else for me, like attaching a fence panel or paint the garden door?

A: If provided with materials and equipment for the job, painting a small area is an option. For any repairs we recommend using the services of a handyman or landscaping professional. You can always check with the gardeners, while on-site, what they can do for you.

Q: Can you dig over/rotavate my garden?

A: In case it is a flowerbed or a small area - yes, we can do that for you. If it is a large section or the whole garden though, we would suggest using a landscaping team, because of the amount of work needed, as gardeners are specialised in plant care and garden maintenance mainly.

Q: If you need more time than requested can you stay and just finish the job?

A: Extending the time needed for completing the job is usually possible, but it depends on the schedule. In case the team isn't available, a follow up visit will be arranged.

Q: Can I have you on regular basis?

A: Yes, you can. We are flexible and visits every week, fortnight, month, etc. can be arranged.
